Executive Assistant Job Description

Description Summary: Performs a wide range of administrative duties. Duties may be complex and will involve access to confidential information. Requires excellent computer skills and other administrative skills such as the ability to organize and coordinate many tasks. Candidate must be professional and have a friendly and courteous phone personality.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administrative duties for Key Management Team
  • Setup reports and organize data
  • Create internal and external customer presentations
  • Responsible for company errands
  • Make travel arrangements and negotiate corporate travel rates
  • Maintain corporate calendar
  • Coordinate luncheons/parties
  • Create and distribute corporate meeting agendas
  • Compile, maintain and distribute corporate meeting notes

Requirements:

  • Minimum three to five years executive assistant experience
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Effective verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in an office or indoor industrial manufacturing, environment
  • Excellent systems aptitude and respect for standard operating procedures
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Proactive with excellent judgment
  • Ability to work discreetly with confidential information
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, work on schedule and within deadlines

Education (minimum):

  • Associate Degree; four-year degree or Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) preferred
